2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® near West Palm Beach, FL

2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® parked in West Palm Beach FL showcasing matte gray finish, sleek batwing fairing, and powerful 121ci engine

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® has been revised to meet the demands of long-distance riders who require performance, system integration, and mechanical consistency. It introduces core updates across engine output, aerodynamics, infotainment, weight distribution, and rider-assist features.

Aerodynamic Changes Focused on Real-World Function

The updated batwing fairing on the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® is not an aesthetic revision. It has been reshaped through wind tunnel validation to reduce turbulence, redirect airflow over the rider, and improve highway-speed balance. The central vent and flanking cutouts are positioned to manage frontal pressure.

The fairing integrates a full LED lighting system. The front lighting assembly uses a single headlamp structure with a focused light pattern. Daytime visibility is supported by integrated signature lighting. The turn signals are fully embedded into the fairing’s outer edges, removing separate housings. The aerodynamic treatment continues across the side covers, fuel tank, and saddlebags.

Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 Provides Continuous Torque Delivery

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 engine, which delivers the highest factory displacement currently available in the Harley-Davidson® touring lineup. This engine incorporates liquid-cooled cylinder heads to maintain thermal balance during extended operation. The VVT system adjusts valve timing dynamically, which improves power consistency across various RPM ranges.

The engine is constructed with dual counterbalancers to minimize vibration while preserving mechanical feedback. Torque output remains strong in midrange conditions, which supports efficient roll-on performance for overtaking and merging. The six-speed transmission has been calibrated for direct engagement without gear slop, and clutch behavior has been tuned for smoother transitions during stop-and-go traffic or slow maneuvering.

Suspension and Frame Adjustments Improve Control

Suspension performance has been upgraded through a SHOWA® 47mm inverted front fork and rear shocks with remote hydraulic preload adjustment. The preload adjustment can be made without tools, using a simple control behind the left saddlebag.

The rear suspension offers three inches of travel, which increases vertical compliance over uneven road surfaces. The front fork maintains lateral stiffness during hard braking, which improves corner entry stability.

The motorcycle’s weight reduction, totaling 31 pounds less than the previous generation, supports overall handling.

Skyline™ OS Provides Centralized Information Control

The Skyline™ OS manages the motorcycle’s infotainment and system diagnostics through a 12.3-inch TFT color touchscreen. This single interface replaces traditional analog gauges. It displays speed, RPM, gear position, fuel level, tire pressure, and other vital readings without delay. Three view modes are available, and all can be customized for different riding conditions or rider preferences.

The system includes Apple CarPlay® support and integrates hands-free calling, navigation, and media access. The touchscreen is compatible with gloved operation. Physical controls mounted on the handlebars provide redundancy for critical functions such as ride mode selection, volume control, and menu navigation.

Audio is delivered through a Harley-Davidson® Audio system powered by Rockford Fosgate®.

Selectable Ride Modes Adjust System Behavior

Four ride modes are available on the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide®: Road, Sport, Rain, and a customizable User mode. These modes adjust the motorcycle’s throttle response, engine braking, traction control intervention, and ABS performance. Each parameter is recalibrated in real-time, depending on the selected profile.

The User mode allows riders to adjust settings independently, creating a tailored combination that can be saved and recalled.

Ergonomic Updates Increase Long-Distance Support

Seat shape and padding have been redesigned for weight distribution and lumbar support. The rider triangle has been refined with altered handlebar position and floorboard placement.

Heated hand grips come standard and are integrated into the infotainment system, allowing riders to adjust heat levels from the main display. The grips maintain consistent temperature even under fluctuating ambient conditions.

Additional ergonomic features include integrated tire pressure monitoring, ambient temperature readings, and a proximity-based ignition system. The TFT screen displays all system alerts and notifications with direct messaging, reducing the need for physical inspection of separate indicators.

Chassis Integration Includes Storage and Charging

The saddlebags are hard-mounted, color-matched, and designed for tool-free opening. Internal lighting improves visibility in low-light conditions. Each bag is weather-sealed and built with internal cable routing for the included USB-C charging port.

The fuel tank console contains a compartment that holds most standard-size smartphones and supports wireless charging. The internal mat prevents shifting while riding.

Lighting Hardware Improves Visibility

The headlamp uses adaptive LED technology. It features multiple projection points to cast a broader and more uniform light field. This design reduces tunnel vision at night and improves edge visibility along curving roads. The system is automatic, adjusting brightness based on ambient conditions and power supply.

The tail lamps and rear turn indicators are also LED-based. Their output remains consistent during electrical load changes. The brake light activates immediately under pressure or during system-detected deceleration, including engine braking scenarios.

Brake System and Stability Controls Reinforce Rider Confidence

The front brakes use dual 320mm rotors with four-piston radial-mount Brembo® calipers. The rear rotor measures 300mm and is paired with a dual-piston caliper.

Cornering Enhanced ABS and Traction Control are standard. These systems read lean angle, throttle position, wheel speed, and yaw rate to modulate intervention. The system includes Drag-Torque Slip Control to prevent rear-wheel lock during abrupt throttle closure. Hill Hold Control adds further control during elevated starts or heavy traffic slopes.
