Meet the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® Series
The Street Glide® continues to be one of the most popular motorcycles at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson® and traces its roots back to the Electra Glide. This is a touring bike that is built on the Grand American Touring chassis and which is perhaps most defined by its fork-mounted fairing. The series includes four distinct models in all. The standard Street Glide® is the most affordable entry point into that series. The Special is aimed at riders who want more of a custom appearance and loadout. The ST is geared toward thrill seekers and has the most powerful engine available for touring motorcycles, and the CVO Street Glide® blends the Special with the ST and covers it in an exclusive aesthetic.
Street Glide®
The standard Street Glide® available through our dealership serving Stuart Port St. Lucie Fort Pierce Vero Beach is a stripped-down bagger that is most defined by its hot-rod aesthetic and a fork-mounted fairing, which is often referred to as the batwing. As with most H-D® tourers, it provides an upright riding position and forward foot controls, but those can be swapped out. It also has an infotainment system, two-up seating, floorboards and saddlebags. An anti-lock braking system is optional, and you can opt for it as a standalone feature or as part of the Reflex Defensive Rider Systems suite.
Street Glide® Special
The Street Glide® Special is a premium edition of the bike described above. It upgrades the base Milwaukee-Eight® 107 V-Twin engine with the more powerful 114 engine. It also has an upgraded sound system and a more sophisticated infotainment system with a larger touch screen. The Special is available in seven colors overall, and you choose chrome like the standard model but also black for a custom look.
Street Glide® ST
The Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-Twin engine is the most powerful engine that Harley-Davidson® makes for its touring lineup. Prior to the introduction of the Street Glide® ST last model year, the CVO was the only way to get it with this bike. The ST includes it standard and also has a seat height raised by 0.6 inches. The model is available in Vivid Black but also White Sand Pearl and features the blacked-out appearance.
CVO Street Glide®
CVO models are custom motorcycles that are available straight from the factory. As of this writing, the CVO Street Glide® hadn’t been officially announced, so we don’t know what the aesthetic will be for this model year. What we do know is that the bike will be similar to the Street Glide® Special in terms of the loadout but have the 117 engine in addition to an appearance that is exclusive to it and limited.
Customizing Your 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®
Beyond the color and finish, the biggest choices you’ll need to make is ABS and RDRS. These options are only available at purchase and can’t be added later. Note that ABS, which is available as a standalone option with the base model, becomes standard beyond that point. RDRS, which includes ABS, is optional with all of the models discussed here.
