2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike Category Models Explained
Trikes continue to gain in popularity with sales increasing each year not only in Stuart Florida but throughout North America. If you’re interested in owning your own, there are three 2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike category models to consider: Freewheeler®, Road Glide® 3 and Tri Glide® Ultra. Freewheeler®
The Freewheeler® is the most affordable of the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Trike category models at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson®. This is a stripped-down hot rod and essentially the cruiser of the Trike family. It’s perfect for the rider in Stuart Florida who’ll use his or her trike primarily around town and perhaps to commute. It has one wheel up front and looks much like a cruiser from the seat up. Behind the seat, there are two wheels and a trunk that provides 2 cubic feet of space. The engine that Harley-Davidson® users for all of its trikes is the Milwaukee-Eight® 114, and all come standard with advanced rider assists. Vivid Black is standard. Premium color options are White Sand Pearl and Bright Billiard Blue with Billiard Gray.
Road Glide® 3
The Road Glide® 3 is the newest of the Harley-Davidson® Trike category models having been just introduced for the 2023 model year. Trikes are perfect for touring, and the goal with the Road Glide® 3 is to emulate the success of the iconic Road Glide® tourer in a three-wheeled package. The biggest difference between this model and the Freewheeler® is that it has a frame-mounted fairing and a windscreen whereas the Freewheeler® has no fairing at all. Another notable difference is that this model has an infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touch screen. Vivid Black is standard. Premium options are Gray Haze and Bright Billiard Blue. You can also opt for a black finish as opposed to the standard chrome.
Tri Glide® Ultra
The Tri Glide® Ultra is a touring trike as well. One of the big differences it between it and the Road Glide® 3 is that it has a fork-mounted or batwing fairing rather than the shark nose. The trunk is also bigger than either the Freewheeler® and Road Glide® 3 at 4.4 cubic feet. It also comes standard with a tour pack that provides you an additional 2.4 cubic feet. The tour pack has an integrated passenger backrest, and it also gives you the option of a luggage carrier. Vivid Black is standard. Premium options are Atlas Silver Metallic, Gray Haze / Silver Fortune, Prospect Gold / Vivid Black and Red Heirloom Fade.
