Compare 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® vs Street Glide®
Riders in Stuart and throughout the surrounding areas can now test ride and purchase the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson®. These remain the most popular motorcycles in the H-D® lineup because they’re amazingly versatile and just as at home cruising around town as they are on a long-distance ride.
Ride Characteristics
Comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® is often a comparison made by new enthusiasts, and the reason for this is that the biggest difference between the two is the fairing. The Street Glide® is a tad heavier and a smidge longer, but for most riders, it’s going to come down to whether you prefer the fork-mounted fairing, which is on the Street Glide®, or the frame-mounted fairing, which is the defining characteristic of the Road Glide®.
Performance
Both the Street Glide® and Road Glide® are powered by the iconic Milwaukee-Eight® 107 V-twin engine. As mentioned, the Street Glide® is a bit heavier, but it doesn’t have a practical difference in terms of performance. More powerful engines are available through the Street Glide® and Road Glide® variants that we’ll discuss in a bit, but the 107 delivers ample performance for the average rider.
Technologies
The Boom!™ Box Infotainment system with a 4.3-inch touch screen is standard. A 6.5-inch touch screen is optional. An anti-lock braking system and electronic linked braking are available as an option. You can also opt for the full RDRS suite, which also includes vehicle hold control, TPMS, C-ABS, C-ELB, a cornering-enhanced traction control system and cornering drag-torque slip control system.
Customization
A chrome finish is standard with both the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson®. Vivid Black is the classic Harley-Davidson® color and included in the MSRP. You also have the premium options of Redline Red and Atlas Silver Metallic.
Special Editions
When comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide®, you may want to consider the variants as well, and there is a number of them. The Road Glide® Special and Street Glide® Special add the more powerful Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine and a number of premium features. The Road Glide® Limited is similar to the Road Glide® Special but has the Tour-Pak. There is no Limited for the Street Glide®, but a color matched Tour-Pak is available as an option. The Road Glide® ST and Street Glide® ST are sport tourers with the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine, and the CVO Road Glide®, CVO Road Glide® Limited and CVO Street Glide® are factory custom models with the new Milwaukee-Eight® 121.
