Compare 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114 vs Fat Bob® 114
The Harley-Davidson® Cruiser family offers a wide range of options that deliver distinct riding experiences. Two of those options are the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114 and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114, which are both now available to test ride and purchase at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson®. Despite being in the same family and sharing some fundamental similarities, the Street and Fat Bob® are quite different in their designs.

What’s New for 2023
The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114, which is a staple in the H-D® lineup and one of the most popular models, arrives with a new color option but no major changes. Likewise, the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114 arrives with a new color choice but only receives some minor revisions to its overall design.

Ride Characteristics
When comparing the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114 vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114, it’s important to appreciate the different approach to the designs. They’re both bobbers that are built on the Softail platform and which have the same engine, but the Fat Bob® is designed as a performance cruiser whereas the Street Bob® is designed as a street cruiser. Notice that the Street Bob® has the classic silhouette, lower seating and mid foot controls whereas the Fat Bob® has a more aggressive silhouette, wider tires, a taller seat and forward foot controls.

Performance
While the feel of the experience differs, the raw performance between the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob® 114 and 2023 Harley-Davidson® Fat Bob® 114 is actually quite similar because they both have the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine. But the Fat Bob® also has electronic cruise control and a sport exhaust.

Infotainment
Cruisers tend not to have infotainment systems, and that is the case here. The Fat Bob® has a digital speedometer and an analog tachometer, and the Street Bob® has a small LCD screen.

Customization
The Street Bob® has a dark, modern aesthetic with cast wheels. Vivid Black is the color included in the MSRP. Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson® also offers two premium options: Industrial Yellow and Redline Red. The Fat Bob® has a dark aesthetic as well, but it’s broken up by bronze- and aluminum-look aspects. Vivid Black is the standard color with this model as well, and the premium options are Gray Haze and Redline Red.

Alternative Models
The Softail Standard is the prototypical H-D® cruiser and the most affordable. If you prefer the performance-oriented nature of the Fat Bob®, there are number of options to consider. The Fat Boy 114 is an obvious choice, but others include the Low Rider S and Breakout 117.
